Whether its Tile, Shingle, or Metal, we do it all. We use water only No Harsh Chemicals “ Soft washing”, and when your roof (tile and shingle) is clean we use a copper sulfate which the treatment is guaranteed for 2 years, but advise to do a Checkup visit at 1 year to make sure a new treatment is not needed, as our harsh SWFL weather sometimes cause things to wear off sooner than planned. The treatment acts like a shield. It’s an algaecide that when any form of dew or rain occurs it activates the treatment and starts preventing any new algae or mildew to grow on the surface.
When we clean your tile roof we use water only, No harsh chemicals that can cause long lasting and very costly damage to your valleys. We walk on the roof with our surface cleaner and very diligently wash off all the debris and mildew growth on the tiles. Once the roof is cleaned we apply a Copper Sulfate treatment that is left on the tile to dry.
Cleaning your shingle roofs is another method we use with Low pressure to prolong the life of the beading on the shingle tile. We walk on the roof with our wand cleaner and very diligently wash off mildew growth on the tiles .We use a detergent to wash away the mildew and then once its cleaned we apply the copper sulfate treatment and let it dry.
Metal roofs are a little different, we do not walk on these roofs as its too dangerous. We stand on our ladder with our ladder guard along the roof line and spray a 20% bleach treatment on the roof , let it sit for a few and then thoroughly wash it off. No Copper sulfate treatment is used on these roofs.
